Last September 13, 2025, was a day of laughter, music, and heartfelt connections as genieX brought its Project: Share A Smile initiative to Elsie Gaches Village, a home dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of children and adults with special needs.
Elsie Gaches Village is a remarkable institution committed to supporting abandoned, neglected, and dependent children and adults, including those with intellectual and neuro-developmental disorders such as autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome. Their dedication ensures that every resident receives the care, attention, and encouragement needed to thrive.
Through The genieX Project: Share A Smile, our team had the privilege of creating a day full of joy and engagement. The celebration began with an Opening Prayer, setting a warm and uplifting tone. Residents and volunteers then participated in an energizing Zumba session, moving and laughing together.
The excitement continued with interactive games, followed by special numbers where the residents showcased their talents in dancing, singing, and poetry, filling the room with pride and happiness. The day was further brightened with gift giving and loot bags, spreading smiles and delight to all. The celebration concluded with a feeding session, ensuring everyone left nourished and full of joy.
Seeing the confidence, happiness, and resilience of the residents, facilitators, and volunteers reminded us that every smile shared has the power to uplift and inspire. Elsie Gaches Village stands as a testament to the transformative power of compassion, care, and inclusion.
